My Name is Carol Schloegel.
I am basically a farm girl having lived on a farm in Blairstown, Missouri all my life until I started teaching. I went to
Norris Grade School (no longer in existence) and Chilhowee High School. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from
Central Missouri State University. My first teaching assignment was 4th Grade in a public school in Lexington, Missouri. I
got married and moved to Blue Springs, Missouri where I taught Fourth and Fifth Grade. Then I started a family and became
a stay at home mom. I resumed teaching at a Christian school in Blue Springs, where I taught a variety of grades--2nd
and 3rd combination, 3rd and 4th combination, 4th Grade, and 6th Grade. Now I am teaching here at Johnson County Christian
Academy. As a teacher of 20 years, I have prepared myself to take on challenging tasks. I have learned to deal
with all kinds of situations and diverse learners. I am dedicated to the academic excellence and personal growth of my students.
My own children are grown. My son, Scott, has a Business Degree with an emphasis in Finance. He lives in Overland Park, Kansas.
My daughter, Jessica is married. She and her husband, Cody, are living in Bolivar, Missouri. When I get the chance, I like
to sew and do some gardening. I regularly attend church at Woods Chapel Bible Fellowship in Blue Springs, Missouri.
I truly enjoy teaching. I feel
that it is what I have been called to do.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
