First & Second Grade  The '09-'10 school year promises
to be exciting! I feel very blessed to work closely with the all of the Staff and School Board here at JCCA.
As Lead Teacher, I make sure that our curriculum and technology is exciting and up-to-date. This
year, I have the privilege of working with the 1st and 2nd graders. Both of my favorite grades! We'll be
traveling around the world in Social Studies, learning how to read, tackling harder Math skills and
much, much more. I feel so blessed to be in an atmosphere where I can openly and freely share the love of Jesus Christ
with my students. I pray that this year we'll all learn more about Jesus and His great love for
us.

I love the story of Daniel and his friends. They weren’t afraid to “go against
the flow.” They stood up for what they knew was right—even though it could cost them their
lives. When they were told to bow down to the King’s golden image (or statue) they told the King,
“Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will….but, even if He doesn’t
we will not bow down to worship the golden image.” WOW! What faith!
To be able to say with confidence, “…but even if He doesn’t” I will serve Him.
