Pre-3, Library, & Resource

I
have been a "Warrensburger" since I was in 6th grade. My father was in Graphic Arts at UCM. My mother also worked
outside the home as we got older, mainly as a secretary. I went to school on campus at College/University High. I have a brother
that lives in South Carolina and an older sister and twin sister that now live in Warrensburg. My daughter, Lyndsi, is in
7th grade now. I actually did not have teaching as a career choice to start with. I was a Biology/General Recreation major.
Before I graduated I got a call from a school in a small town in northern Missouri asking me to come teach there. I decided
that would be a great learning experience. So I taught there 2years (3rd & 5th grades) and then graduated. I
was hooked into teaching. I moved back to this area and taught 4th, 1st, and Special Education in Holden for 29 years. As
I was leaving holden one day in May, my car just turned into the road for JCCA. God was giving me a strong message that I
should teach at JCCA. I knew I should obey! I believe that God has provided a job that is the greatest of blessings when He
created teaching and I have been blessed being part of it.
